Here’s how it works: What You’ll Need: ✨ Wrapping paper ✨ Tape ✨ Scissors ✨ Measuring tape Step 1: Measure Your Gift Grab the width, depth, and height of your gift. These measurements will help you figure out the size of your wrapping paper. Step 2: Cut the Wrapping Paper Use this formula for the perfect fit: 📐 Width of the paper = (2 × width of the gift) + ~4 cm 📐 Height of the paper = (height + depth of the gift) + ~6 cm Step 3: Make Your Bag 1️⃣ Place the paper face down. 2️⃣ Fold the sides in so they overlap in the middle and tape them together. 3️⃣ Fold up the bottom edge (based on the gift’s depth), press the corners down into triangles, and flatten it out. 4️⃣ Fold the bottom flaps inward and tape securely. Today, I’m finishing up our Christmas decorations, and I’m so happy with how everything turned out! The house feels so cozy and festive, especially in the living room and bedroom.

One of my favorite things is the lights - they’re on a timer, so they come on at 4 PM and turn off after 6 hours. It’s so convenient! We hung them on top of the windows, right on the curtain rails, and they look amazing. We got them last year at Hofer, and they’re still perfect. 💡

I also added some cute window stickers I ordered from Amazon - they’re so fun and make the windows look really festive. And these beautiful window candles were a gift from my mother-in-law! 🎄 DIY Advent Calendar: A Special Tradition for My Son 🎄 When I was a kid, my mom made the most magical advent calendar for me, my brother, and my twin sister. She used this beautiful straw braid that hung in our living room, and starting on December 1st, it would hold little bags filled with tiny surprises. Each bag had three small gifts - sometimes toys, chocolates, or fun little things. There weren’t all 24 bags up at once (it wouldn’t fit!), but every morning after we opened one, a new one would magically appear. Start by gathering a wreath base like straw, some evergreen branches (pine, fir, or cedar work great), and four candles of your choice. Wrap the greenery around the base using floral wire until it’s lush and full. Next, add the candles, making sure they’re secure and evenly spaced. Now comes the fun part - decorating! Use ribbons, ornaments, pinecones, or anything you love to make it uniquely yours. I went with a red, brown, and gold theme, using pinecones, golden pinecones, red berries, and tiny red apples - and I couldn’t be happier with the result! To me, green, red, and gold just scream Christmas. Once it’s done, place your wreath on a safe surface and light a candle each Sunday leading up to Christmas. A handmade touch makes the season extra special!

Welcome to my 5-Minute Halloween Compilation! If you’re looking for some quick, festive ideas to celebrate Halloween, you’re in the right place. This video has a little bit of everything - decor, cookies, DIY crafts, and Halloween must-haves to make the season feel extra special!

We’ll start with some Simple Halloween Decor. I added a few small touches around the house to get in the Halloween spirit, and I love how it turned out. Just a few pieces can make a big difference, especially when you have little ones at home who are excited about the holiday.

Next up, I’ll take you along for a Halloween Restock! I found some cute Halloween napkins on Amazon that were perfect for setting up a festive look, so I had to add those to the mix.

Then we’re off to the kitchen for some Halloween Cookies! I decided to bake bat and ghost-shaped cookies with a simple shortbread recipe. I decorated them with cocoa frosting, keeping things easy but super cute. Baking cookies has become one of my favorite holiday traditions to start with my son.

And what’s Halloween without Pumpkin Carving? It’s been years since I last carved a pumpkin, but I gave it another go and loved how it turned out! Using a pumpkin carving kit made it a lot easier, and the finished pumpkin, lit with little tea lights, brought that classic Halloween feel to our home.

If you like crafts, I also tried out some DIY Halloween Decorations with felt. I made bats, ghosts, and pumpkins, which were really fun and simple to put together. I ended up decorating the front door with them, and they turned out so cute!

DIY Halloween Decor: Felt Bats, Ghosts, and Pumpkins! 🎃🦇👻 I don’t usually do a lot of crafting, but this year I wanted to try making my own Halloween decorations. I thought it might be a fun project to do with my son next year! Here’s how I did it: I printed out templates of bats, ghosts, and pumpkins, glued them onto cardboard, and cut them out to make stencils. Then, I traced the stencils onto black felt for the bats, orange felt for the pumpkins, and white felt for the ghosts. I used a white pencil for the bats, brown for the pumpkins, and black for the ghosts to make the outlines easy to see. After that, I just cut out all the shapes. I added some fun, googly eyes to the figures with a hot glue gun, and finished off by drawing little faces on the ghosts and pumpkins. Now I have a bunch of cute felt creatures ready to decorate! You could easily turn them into a cute garland, but I decided to use them to decorate my front door instead. I’m so happy with how it turned out, and there are so many ways to customize these. Who knows, maybe I’ll try making Christmas decorations next!

How to carve a pumpkin | quick & simple step-by-step guide 🎃👻

How to carve a pumpkin 🎃 I hadn’t carved a pumpkin in ages, but now that my son is two, I decided it’s time to start celebrating the holidays, and of course, Halloween is a must - with all its classic traditions! The last time I carved a pumpkin, I was maybe 13 or 14, and I remember it being pretty exhausting. That’s why I ordered a pumpkin carving set on Amazon this time. It’s not absolutely necessary, and I didn’t use every tool, but the ones I did use made the process so much easier, and I was done in no time! I started by marking the top of the pumpkin where I wanted to cut the lid. Then I made the cut, removed the lid, and scooped out all the insides. Once the pumpkin was empty, I drew the eyes and mouth on the front, carefully carved along the lines, and popped out the pieces. After a quick clean-up, I placed three little tea lights inside, lit the candles, and voilà - my Halloween pumpkin was complete! I’m sure my son is going to love it. I ended up using just three tools from the kit: one to draw the design, a knife to carve, and a serrated spoon to scoop out the insides. If you’re doing more intricate designs or using the stencils that come with the kit, you’d probably use more of the tools. I’m amazed at how easy and quick it was! How to Make Halloween Shortbread Cookies | Quick & Easy Recipe 🍪👻

I’ve never really celebrated Halloween much before, but now that my son is two, I want to start celebrating all the holidays - and Halloween feels like the perfect place to start! So, I decided to make Halloween cookies and found some cute cookie cutters on Amazon that I just had to use. I went with a simple shortbread recipe since it’s easy and one I already use for Christmas. Here’s how I made the dough:

🍪 500g flour
🍪 6g baking powder
🍪 150g sugar
🍪 1 packet of vanilla sugar
🍪 2 eggs
🍪 250g butter
🍪 Extra flour for the countertop

Mix everything together - first with a mixer, then knead it by hand on a floured surface until the dough is smooth. Wrap it in cling film and chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes. After that, roll it out to about 5mm thick.

I used bat and ghost cookie cutters (from Amazon), cut out the shapes, and baked the cookies at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.

For decorating, I originally thought about using white frosting for the ghosts, which would have looked great. But to keep things simple and save time, I decided to use the same cocoa frosting for both the bats and the ghosts instead of whipping up a second batch. It turned out perfectly, and the chocolate ghosts looked just as cute! I used sugar sprinkles for the eyes.

Here’s how I made the cocoa frosting:
🍪 200g powdered sugar
🍪 30g cocoa powder
🍪 Water (or milk)

I sifted the sugar and cocoa together, then added just enough liquid to make a thick frosting. After dipping each cookie into the frosting and adding the eyes, they were ready once the frosting hardened.

The result? Adorable, delicious Halloween cookies!

I’ve never really decorated for Halloween before, but with a 2-year-old, I wanted to add a little something to get in the spirit. Just a few small touches, but I love how it turned out! 🎃

How to wrap oddly shaped gifts

In keeping with the Christmas season, today I’m sharing a ‘gift wrapping hack’ with you. I never knew how to wrap oddly shaped gifts, until I came across this ‘gift wrapping hack’. I will show you how to quickly and easily craft a custom gift bag from wrapping paper, allowing you to effortlessly wrap any type of gift, no matter the shape or size. You will need: Wrapping paper, Tape, Scissors and Measuring tape First, we need to determine how big our bag needs to be. To do this, measure the width, depth, and height of your gift. Now we need to cut our wrapping paper or, in my case, glue it together large enough. Follow these formulas to determine the correct size for the wrapping paper: 📐 The width of the wrapping paper cut: twice the measured width + approx. 4 cm 📐 The height of the wrapping paper cut: the measured height + the measured depth + approx. 6 cm 🎁 Once we have the measurements and have cut or glued the required size of wrapping paper together, we can start folding and crafting the bag: 1️⃣ Place the wrapping paper with the beautiful side down. 2️⃣ Fold the outer sides together so that they overlap slightly in the middle. 3️⃣ Tape the overlapping ends together. 4️⃣ To create the bottom of the bag, measure the length of the depth of the gift from the bottom end upward. 5️⃣ Fold the bottom end upward, open it, and press the corners downward to create triangles. Flatten on both sides. If your gift is very large, fold the middle part into each other, that you can flatten it. 6️⃣ Fold both sides into the middle and tape them securely. 7️⃣ Fold the top end downward, and your bag is finished. 8️⃣ Now, just open the bag from the top, place the gift inside, and seal it. Optionally, you can decorate your gift bag with ribbons or stickers. 💡 This bag is practical for any type of gift and can be crafted quickly. Christmas is around the corner and this hair dryer hacks is going to save you so much time and nerves. Remove all those stubborn price sticker adhesives with this ultimate sticker removal hack 💁‍♀️🎁🔥🪄

1️⃣ Peel off as much of the Sticker as you can!
2️⃣ Set your hair dryer to high, holding it 1-2 inches above the sticker.
3️⃣ The heat helps loosen the adhesive.
4️⃣ Test and peel further; if it resists, keep heating until it surrenders.
5️⃣ Voilà! Works like a charm!

How To Make Christmas Cookies Part 1

Today, I'll show you which cookies I always bake during the Christmas season. There are so many different cookies to indulge in during Christmas, but the cookies I bake almost every year are simple Christmas cookies made from shortcrust pastry. In today's video, I'll show you how to prepare the dough, then roll it out, cut out cookies, and bake them. In part 2, I'll show you the various ways I decorate the cookies afterward. For the dough, you'll need: - 100g sugar - 200g butter - 300g flour - 1 egg Since I always bake a lot of cookies at once, I doubled the amount. Preparation: 1️⃣ Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl with a dough hook until you have a smooth dough. 2️⃣ Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. 3️⃣ Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). 4️⃣ Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. 5️⃣ Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out to a thickness of 3-4mm on a floured work surface. 6️⃣ Cut out shapes as desired. 7️⃣ Bake the cookies in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown, then let them cool. Tip: If the dough gets too warm, it becomes brittle. In such a case, simply refrigerate the dough again. These cookies are delicious and super easy to make. In part 2 I will show you how I decorate these shortcrust pastry cookies.

How To Make Christmas Cookies Part 2

Today I will show you how I decorate the previous made christmas cookies.

1️⃣I start by chopping the chocolate couverture into small pieces.
2️⃣ Then I place the cookies on a baking sheet for the jam filling.
3️⃣ I warm and strain the jam before filling it into a plastic bag.
4️⃣ I cut a corner of the bag to easily fill the cookies, adding a bit of jam on one side and pressing the other side onto it.
5️⃣ Then I melt the chocolate and fill another bag.
6️⃣ After cutting a corner, I drizzle the chocolate in crisscross patterns on the assembled cookies.

All Done! They not only taste delicious but also look really nice.
